Are you sending invoices to your clients directly from Kompass? If not, well, kind of well done! But if you are, you can now send your proposals as well directly to your clients. Hit "Documents", pick the proposal you want to use and then just send it.
No need to download and prepare the email again.
And don't you worry, if you want to use your very own email context, you can do so. Every estimator can have their very own personalized email template to send to the clients they're dealing with.

Let me give you my big wish list for Kompass. I didn't like that the collapsing of parents wasn't summing up its children values. We thought about it and we came up with a solution. And we think it's brilliant! Go collapse some parents and see how it looks like!

For some of you that you are using the Expense module, Kompass is allowing you to batch import your expenses straight from your credit card statements. And then we thought, why not allowing you to import data on other modules as well? You can now do so. Import clients, contacts, projects and invoices, even users and time off entries.

Remember the days you were only able to add extra fields for projects and suppliers alone? Well now you can do so for nearly all Kompass datasets. If they're on a red square*, you can add your own new fields and tailor your Kompass account to fit your exact needs.
* add your own fields under: Organizations, Contacts, Projects, Equipment, Expenses, Suppliers, Time Off, Employees, Proposal Items, Tasks.

You have asked for dividers so that similar extra data fields will be grouped together. You wished for selecting employees, contacts, proposal items etc from a drop down menu. You talked about having multi-lined fields in there, similar to the "details" field.
Well, all of them are now in place. From version 25.11.24 onward.
You can set them all at your API Admin so if you need any help, let us know or if you feel brave enough, check this concept article https://support.kompassbms.com/article/263-user-defined-fields-udf.

You're likely familiar with adding your own custom fields to projects. We're happy to say you can now do the same for your client dataset.
And to save you even more time, you can now set a default Primary Contact and Billing Contact for each client. The next time you create a new proposal for them, Kompass will auto-populate those fields for you.
The more we can save you time on mundane tasks, the happier we get.

It happens, sometimes a project just has to be put on hold. But you don't want it cluttering your list of active work, and it's not 'Lost' either.
So, what do you do? Now, you can officially "Suspend" it.
Suspended projects move to their own separate space, keeping your main view clean. And when you're ready to find them again, a new filter makes it simple. Suspended, yes, but not forgotten.

Remember searching for a task, only to be met with a wall of colour from every other task a person had? It made finding what you needed a bit of a treasure hunt.
We thought that could be much better. Now, when you search, all non-relevant tasks will be greyed out, putting a spotlight on exactly what you asked for. Your search results are now crystal clear.

Tagging colleagues in a comment is great for keeping them in the loop. But having to re-tag every single person just to reply? That’s a bit of a hassle.
To fix this, we’ve added a handy new "Reply" button. Click it, and your comment will automatically be addressed to everyone from the previous message. Less typing, and no more accidentally leaving someone out.

You have to set a new organization in Kompass. And then you'll have to create at least one contact. But most of your clients are private landowners that they are both "clients" and "contacts".
Wasn't it annoying having to go through both pages? We get it. That's why we changed it.
Once creating a new organization for your private individuals, you now have the option to create them as "persons". That option will then create both a client and a contact in one fell swoop.
